The Kaminsky Real Estate Group ("we", "us") is a residential real estate team in Hermosa Beach, California, licensed under DRE# 00958114 and brokered by eXp Realty. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA) and the California Online Privacy Protection Act.

Notice at collection

We collect the following categories of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising cookies described below may count as "selling" or "sharing" under California law, and you can opt out.

Identifiers and contact details: name, email address, phone number, postal address, and online identifiers such as cookie IDs and IP address. Used to respond to you, provide real estate services, and (for online identifiers) analytics and advertising.
Property and transaction details: homes you ask about, want to buy or sell, price range, timing, and anything you write in a message. Used to provide the services you ask for.
Internet and device activity: pages viewed, links clicked, referring site, browser and device type. Used for security, analytics and advertising.
Approximate location: city or region inferred from your IP address. Used for security and analytics.
Communication preferences: whether you agreed to receive calls or text messages, and the exact wording you agreed to. Used to honor and prove your choice.

We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security, driver's license or financial account numbers) through this website, and we do not use personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Directly from you, when you fill out a form, call, text or email us.
Automatically from your browser or device, through cookies and similar technologies.
From the property search provider (Ruuster), if you register or save searches in the search tool embedded on our pages.

How we use it

To answer your inquiry and provide real estate brokerage services.
To contact you by phone, email or text message. We call or text only with your consent where the law requires it, and you can reply STOP to any text to stop them.
To operate, secure and improve the website, including preventing spam and fraud.
To measure our marketing and, unless you opt out, to show you relevant advertising.
To meet legal, licensing and record-keeping obligations.

Who we share it with

Service providers that act on our behalf under contract: website hosting and security (Cloudflare), our client-relationship database (Follow Up Boss), the website and automation vendors who maintain these systems, the property search provider (Ruuster), and email and texting services.
Our brokerage, eXp Realty, which supervises our licensed activity.
Parties to your transaction, such as cooperating agents, lenders, escrow and title companies, when you ask us to act for you.
Advertising and analytics partners (Google and Meta), through cookies, unless you opt out.
Authorities or others when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes (California Civil Code § 1798.83).

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and tags:

Strictly necessary: security and spam protection on our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile), and remembering your privacy choices. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics: Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used.
Advertising: Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) tags that measure our ads and let those companies show you relevant ads.
Property search: the search tool on our pages is served by Ruuster, which sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

A notice appears on your first visit. You can change your choices at any time with Cookie Settings in the footer of every page or on Your Privacy Choices. Choices are stored in your browser for 12 months.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for that browser, and turn off advertising tags without any further step. Browsers' older "Do Not Track" setting has no agreed meaning, so we rely on GPC instead.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you have the right to:

Know and access the personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions such as real estate record-keeping requirements.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, at Your Privacy Choices or by GPC.
Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you service, charge a different price or provide a different quality of service because you did.

To make a request, email ek@itzsold.com or call 310.798.1277. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days (extendable once by another 45 days, with notice). To protect you, we verify your identity by matching information you give us against what we hold. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that you authorized them and confirm your identity directly.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and client records for as long as we are working with you and afterwards for as long as real estate licensing and tax rules require (California brokers must keep transaction records for at least three years). Records of your privacy choices are kept for two years. Analytics and advertising data are kept according to those providers' retention settings. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

Our pages link to and embed services run by others, such as Ruuster's property search, YouTube videos and social networks. Their own privacy policies govern what they collect.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy at least once a year. When we change it, we update the date at the top, and for material changes we will show a notice on the website.
